Welcome to Forage Color.   I'm Jackie, and I dye all the things around here.  I dye my own yarns, yarns for other people, and lots of the time, teach other people how to dye their yarns.  I do most of my dyeing using natural materials, I'm obsessed with the intricate chemistry needed to coax colors out of nature, and I'm also a total nerd about the historical context of dyeing.  

I will soon be offering a selection of my favorite natural dye extracts, dye supplies and yarns.  Please contact me about contract dyeing or to book a workshop in your area.
