Saxon Blue is a preparation of Indigo that renders it soluble in water. It does not require a vat, and will yield deep teals and aqua blues on mordanted wool. Our Saxon Blue is made in house from an historic recipe gleaned from copious research and vintage dye text books. It is a liquid extract, very strong and potent.
